Post School Programs (Day Programs)

Kalparrin provides a range of Post School Programs to adults with moderate to high support needs in the Albury and surrounding districts. The aim of post school programs is to provide an alternative to paid employment with opportunities for continued learning and life skill development. Post School Programs support participation in the wider community which can assist with our consumers to meet their life and social goals.

The range of programs that Kalparrin offers include:

  • Community Participation

The Community Participation program aims to assist young people with a disability to develop the skills they need to work towards their goals, increase their independence and participate as valued and active members in the community.

The program is targeted to young people with a disability with moderate to high support needs who require an alternative to paid employment or further education in the medium or longer term

  • Post School Options

Post School Options is a program designed to assist young people with a disability make the transition from school into their adult life. Areas of activities include; Skills Development, Community Access, Adult Education & Leisure and Recreation

  • Older Parent Carer Flexible Day Options

Day Programs provide meaningful purposeful day activities that are valued by clients and community members, that are based on a person's Individual Plan and that promote learning, skill development and enable access, participation and integration in their local community.

  • Leisure Link

Leisure Link provides a weekend, holiday and/or evening program for people with a disability, where they can spend time with their peers in age appropriate creative, recreation and leisure activities.

  • Stronger Together Day Options

Day Programs provide meaningful purposeful day activities that are valued by clients and community members, that are based on a person's Individual Plan and that promote learning, skill development and enable access, participation and integration in their local community.

Transport Services

Kalparrin provides a transport service. We run a pick up and drop off service designed around daily activities, vehicle availability and your residence. Community transport, taxis and buses are also used. We can even make arrangements to travel by train for any consumers wishing to learn how to catch public transport.
